Xcel Energy Inc. is seeking a Generation Development Project Estimator to create and manage cost estimates for new power generation projects, including renewables, thermal, and emerging energy tech.

You’ll work with development managers to build bid-ready, risk-weighted estimates and support master schedules and cash flows. The role collaborates with schedulers, supply chain, and leadership to apply best practices, maintain data integrity, and ensure high-quality bids for billion-dollar

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience with knowledge of heavy construction and/or utility project planning, scheduling and cost estimating techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for project management systems and maintain cost controls tools.
• Launch, training, and improvement of project management applications and reporting.
• Develop quantitative metrics to measure accessibility, reliability, and usage of applications.
