Quanta Power Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Chief Estimator (Power Generation) to lead estimating activities for utility-scale projects. You will develop detailed cost estimates, pricing strategies, and oversee teams across the pursuit lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in power generation construction, renewable energy, and transmission infrastructure, with strong leadership, commercial, and risk-management capabilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• 12+ years of progressive estimating experience in power/utility/EPC/industrial or energy infrastructure construction.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing estimating teams and complex pursuits.
• Experience with thermal generation, renewable energy, BESS, substations, transmission infra, or balance-of-plant construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, project controls, scheduling, procurement, and contract delivery models.
• Proficiency with estimating software, cost databases, and MS Office; strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all estimating activities for power generation and energy infrastructure projects from concept through final proposal submission.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, bid strategies, labor projections, equipment pricing, subcontractor evaluations, and indirect cost analyses.
• Manage and mentor estimating teams, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, schedules, and technical requirements to id project risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering, PM, procurement, operations, and BD teams during pursuit.
• Establish estimating procedures, cost databases, benchmarking tools, and historical metrics.
• Lead bid reviews and executive presentations on pricing strategy, contingencies, and risk allocation.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and participate in key negotiations.
• Support proposal development, contract reviews, value engineering, and constructability assessments.
• Monitor market trends, labor conditions, equipment costs, and industry developments.
