Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Capital Project Category Lead (Power Development) in New Orleans to drive procurement strategy for major capital projects. You will lead commercial efforts, develop contracting strategies, and manage supplier relationships to optimize safety, cost, quality, and schedule across the project portfolio.

This role requires deep experience in supplier contracting, capital projects procurement, and cross-functional collaboration with business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field with 9–12+ years supplier contracting or capital projects experience.
• Alternative: 16+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree; 6+ years in capital projects contracting and procurement.
• Energy industry experience in renewable projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute progressive commercial strategies with business functions.
• Collaborate across Power Development, Capital Projects, and Procurement & Supply Chain.
• Lead contract planning, supplier relationships, and performance governance.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, change orders, and safety standards.
• Align capital funds deployment with Entergy strategies and value goals.
