Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Capital Projects Manager in Louisiana to lead large-scale projects with strong PM and construction expertise. The role involves managing multi-million dollar initiatives, coordinating across project teams, and ensuring safety and quality throughout the lifecycle.

The position requires deep knowledge of project controls, cost management, and risk mitigation. Travel may be required, and the work is performed in both office and field environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field or 4 years of related work experience.
• 10 years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Electric Utility Industry, or related field.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define the project organization structure and assign appropriately skilled individuals to the project team.
• Coordinate with functional departments to meet corporate standards and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and execute the project per the plan.
• Ensure project controls for scope, schedule, quality, cost, cash flow, risk, contracts, and communications.
• Fulfills role as Contract Manager or Owner's Representative and manages contract communications.
• Monitor safety, schedule, cost, quality of work, and contractual compliance.
• Turn over completed project equipment/systems with documentation and training.
