Job summary

GBH is seeking a Post Production Systems Specialist to support video editing technology across the organization. The role leads troubleshooting, implements workflows, and collaborates with Production and IT teams to ensure efficient editing operations.

3+ years of increasing responsibility within a multi-location or matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

Act as a liaison and project manager for Technology and Production Group joint projects.
Work with individual production units to effectively integrate and improve technological needs.
Manage, support and design video editing workflows across the organization.
Train other team members on Post Production systems and best practices to broaden cross-training.
Collaborate with Systems and Network teams to maintain and expand GBH’s network and system infrastructure.
Implement, operate, and support GBH’s video editing systems including storage, editing, production, billing, and transcoding.
Serve as secondary contact for Post Production vendors.
Serve as primary or secondary administrator on several systems and manage planned changes and improvements.
Build effective relationships with customers, management and technical teams.
Identify and mitigate risk, manage change and work in a fast-paced environment.
