Job summary

KeyBank is seeking an Associate, Portfolio Management in a hybrid work environment to support multimillion-dollar corporate credit requests, perform financial analysis, and prepare underwriting documents while maintaining asset quality.

The role involves credit monitoring, risk rating for a portfolio of corporate clients, collaboration with bankers and relationship managers, and ensuring regulatory compliance, with opportunities to develop leadership in credit underwriting.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial underwriting and credit assessment.
• Ability to spread financial statements and analyze trends.
• Experience with syndicated deals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze financial data, spread statements, and assess creditworthiness.
• Model future financial performance and downside scenarios for clients.
• Assist bankers in structuring transactions and credit facilities.
• Prepare underwriting documents detailing risks, mitigants, and market trends.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (KYC, OFAC) and proper documentation.
• Monitor portfolio performance, track covenants, and maintain risk ratings.
• Support management presentations and cross-sell bank products.
