Job summary

Headlight is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Southern California team on a full-time basis. The role features a hybrid work model (3–4 days in-office) and strong clinical autonomy backed by experienced physicians.

You will diagnose, treat, and monitor patients, while leveraging technology to improve care and documentation. The position emphasizes collaboration, supervision, and ongoing professional development, with total compensation details and a 103-status

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of experience post licensure in a psychiatric clinical setting.
• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Board Certification via ANCC or AANP.
• Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Active DEA license in the prescribing state.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders.
• Work a hybrid model with 3-4 days per week in office.
• Offer individual and group therapy to patients.
• Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health.
