Headlight is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our California team in a hybrid role. You will diagnose and treat mental health disorders, provide individual and group therapy, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes autonomous practice with strong clinical support, with in-office work three days per week and competitive benefits. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have master’s degree in nursing with psychiatric specialization
• Board certification by ANCC or AANP
• Valid PMHNP state licensure and active DEA
• Experience with electronic health record systems (NextGen preferred)
• Bilingual skills are a plus, not required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health and emotionally related disorders
• Work a hybrid model with in-office presence 3+ days per week
• Offer individual and group therapy to patients
• Prescribe and monitor medications when appropriate
• Maintain detailed patient records and progress notes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families about mental health and conditions
• Engage in community outreach and education
