Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Planner/Scheduler to lead and analyze complex project schedules across large-scale programs. You will collaborate with engineering and construction teams, review contractor CPM schedules, and deliver technical schedule reviews and time impact analyses to support project decisions.

The role requires hybrid work with two days in an office, up to 50% travel, and expertise in CPM scheduling, EVM, and schedule risk. Strong communication and client interaction are essential.

Qualifications

• Planning / Scheduling experience.
• Degree in a related field or related work experience.
• Ability to work a hybrid model with two days a week in the office.
• Travel up to 50%.
• Experience developing and analyzing schedules for large-scale, complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Experience in vertical construction, advanced facilities, biopharma, oil and gas, power utilities, nuclear, infrastructure, transportation, water treatment.
• Constructability and value engineering analyses related to schedules.
• Claims analysis, change orders, and time impact analysis experience.
• Familiarity with schedule baselines, logic integrity, and change control processes.
• Deep understanding of critical path analysis, float management, and delay analysis methodologies (TIA, as-planned vs as-built, windows analysis).
• Experience with Integrated Master Project and Program schedules.

Responsibilities

• Interact with engineering and construction to understand and communicate scheduling issues.
• Analyze contractors’ CPM schedules and perform technical schedule reviews.
• Prepare variance reports, recommend workarounds and schedule improvements.
• Serve as scheduling SME for client interactions and maintain client relationships.
