Job summary

Elevance Health seeks a Process Improvement Consultant for Pharmacy and Infusion to lead quality investigations and CAPA initiatives. You will partner with Operations and Clinical teams to determine root causes and implement sustainable improvements while ensuring regulatory and contractual alignment.

The role emphasizes incident investigation, data-driven analysis, and collaboration across stakeholders to strengthen processes and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience.
• RN or Certified Pharmacy technician preferred.
• Experience with Qualityze, ERX or CareTend platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau is preferred.
• CURES, Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides dedicated Quality support for pharmacy and clinical infusion operations, focusing on incidents and non-conformances.
• Conducts thorough investigations, evaluates factors and impact, and partners with stakeholders to determine root cause.
• Performs RCA using appropriate methodologies and validates findings with operations, clinical, and compliance teams.
• Identifies concerns and implements corrective plans; uses reports to support process improvement and system changes.
• Develops CAPAs addressing root causes, mitigates risk, and supports sustainability of improvements.
• Establishes action plans with owners, tracks timelines and effectiveness of CAPAs.
• Communicates findings, trends, risks, and improvements to Quality leadership and governance committees.
• Ensures quality activities align with regulatory/contractual/accreditation requirements and supports QA initiatives.
