SpecialtyRx, Inc. is hiring a licensed pharmacist in Ohio to join our Long-Term Care-focused team. You will evaluate orders, ensure proper labeling, and coordinate with nursing staff and physicians to address medication-related inquiries.
The role requires an active Ohio pharmacist license and attention to detail, with experience in LTC preferred. Hybrid work weeks include 4/10 night shifts from 8pm to 6:30am and alternating on-site/remote days, plus benefits and training.

Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.
Ensure that dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
Communicate with facilities’ nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related inquiries.
Supervise the preparation of medications.
Make recommendations for therapy changes to physicians and client facility staff, when necessary.
Investigate and resolve medication-related inquiries.
Maintain customer databases, including medical history, clinical, laboratory data, and other relevant information.
Hybrid schedule with alternating work weeks—4/10s over night 8pm-6:30am and every other weekend. 2 days on site- 2 days remote
Active Pharmacist license with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy required.
Previous Long-Term Care experience preferred.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
Must be reliable and able to multitask.
Computer literate; knowledge of the FrameworkLTC system is a plus.
