Job summary

TrueNorth Companies seeks a Personal Lines Account Specialist to support our Personal Lines team and administer life and health insurance products for clients and internal stakeholders.

Located in Cedar Rapids, IA, this role focuses on maintaining client relationships, processing applications and changes, and meeting deadlines with a focus on exceptional service. A high school diploma is required; a 4-year degree is preferred and P&C licensing may be pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; two or four-year degree preferred.
• Property and Casualty license preferred.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
• One year of customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred; ability to obtain P&C license within 30 days if not licensed.

Responsibilities

• Update client management and carrier systems; enter quotes and process endorsements and mortgagee changes.
• Follow up with clients on incomplete applications and change forms.
• Complete special projects by the indicated deadline.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Meet new and renewal deadlines with leadership guidance.
• Organize time to complete work with content and organization.
• Expand knowledge by taking on new department responsibilities.
