Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a data analytics professional to support analytics, AI, automation, and data solutions that improve performance and customer outcomes. The role partners with business stakeholders to translate information needs into actionable insights, building reporting, dashboards, and automated processes.

You will collaborate across teams to design scalable data solutions, ensure data integrity, and drive continuous improvement in operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience with at least 1 year in customer service, marketing, automated metering, communications, revenue protection, distribution operations, engineering or information systems.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Proven leadership and ability to take initiative from idea to implementation.
• Excellent communication with strong technical and analytical acumen.
• Experience with PC applications and analytical software.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI, automation, and analytics to improve productivity and reporting.
• Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and data integrations.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across reports and processes.
• Design automated workflows and data pipelines for scalable operations.
• Collaborate with partners to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Monitor data quality and resolve issues to ensure timely delivery.
