The role is hybrid in New York, with responsibility for talent development, staffing, and process optimization within a leading international law firm.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and build relationships across teams.
• Expertise in leading organizational change and driving cultural transformation.
• Ability to manage resistance and build buy-in for change initiatives.
• Proficiency in HR analytics and reporting to inform strategy and measure success.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility with stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
• Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to Practice Groups, driving efficiency in operations.
• Manage career development, staffing and operational processes for attorneys.
• Coordinate with Centers of Excellence and other departments to align goals with firm strategy.
• Support performance management processes, partner selection, and pipeline reviews.
• Oversee department communications and budget forecasting.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to attorneys and staff.
• Facilitate integration of new attorneys and maintain a collaborative culture.
• Brief practice leaders on utilization and upcoming events, ensuring consistent messaging.
