Job summary

Morrison Center is seeking a Human Resources & Talent Operations Specialist to join our team. This role supports full-cycle recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, FMLA, leave management, workers' compensation coordination, and employee records management.

You will partner with managers to develop hiring strategies, coordinate onboarding, manage leaves, and ensure HR compliance. This is a Hybrid role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities at Morrison Center.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 1-3 years of HR experience including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, or employee support.
• Knowledge of FMLA, workers' compensation, ADA, and related employment laws.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and HR systems, including HRIS, ATS, or benefits administration platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop hiring strategies and support workforce needs.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientations, and employee documentation.
• Support employee offboarding activities, including exit documentation and process coordination.
• Assist with employee benefit enrollments, changes, and general benefits inquiries.
• Administer and track FMLA and other leave requests and required documentation.
• Coordinate workers' compensation claims and communication with insurance carriers.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Support HR compliance initiatives and employment-related documentation.
