MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Brownstown is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join a growing multidisciplinary team. Hybrid in-person and teletherapy options enable flexible schedules while maintaining clinic-based collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or CF eligibility).
• Michigan state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Utilize play-based and culturally responsive interventions to engage children and foster communication skills.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers, equipping them with home-based techniques for continued progress.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded therapy approaches tailored to each child’s needs.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation as required.
• Participate in clinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities.

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is expanding our exceptional team of therapy professionals! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing multi-disciplinary team and help us Reveal the Super in Every Child!

MetroEHS Brownstown is a spacious, bright neighborhood clinic. Friendly faces abound at this location, and the feel is warm, bright, active, and fun! Brownstown is also close to restaurants, grocery shopping, and several parks! AND MetroEHS utilizes a dedicated teletherapy platform with an abundance of games and activities to support our teletherapists!

For over 20 years, MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy has been a leader in providing integrated pediatric therapy services throughout Southeast Michigan. Our mission is to deliver evidence-based, intensive, multidisciplinary, and collaborative pediatric therapy that empowers children and their families to achieve their fullest potential. Our neighborhood therapy centers make it easy for families to access a comprehensive approach to therapy, offering Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, ABA Therapy, Feeding/Swallowing Therapy and Mental Health services in one center.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday (or four 10-hour days)
• Flexible start and end times
• Virtual and in clinic days
• No nights or weekends
• Option to have reduced FTE for 30 hours work week
• 10+ hours of documentation time each week

Your Impact

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy, you will:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Utilize play-based and culturally responsive interventions to engage children and foster communication skills.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers, equipping them with home-based techniques for continued progress.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded therapy approaches tailored to each child's needs.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation as required.
• Participate in clinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or Clinical Fellow eligibility) AND/OR
• State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Active & Engaged Work– Kneeling, bending and playing at ground level.
• Hands-On Support– Lifting up to 50+ lbs may be required.
• Quick Reflexes– Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.
• Loud or Noisy Environments– Working with active children in dynamic settings.
• Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids– Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

Compensation

• After applying, a member of our recruiting team will call to review the pay range and opportunities for additional compensation through productivity bonuses. Compensation varies based on each clinician’s unique skills and experience.
• Full-time Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 (paid in two installments, with a two-year commitment)
