Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Sterling Heights, MI is expanding our pediatric therapy team and seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multi-disciplinary group. The role offers a hybrid schedule with both teletherapy and in-clinic days at our Sterling Heights South clinic.

You will evaluate and treat pediatric speech-language disorders, collaborate with families, and participate in ongoing professional development within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification or CF eligibility and Michigan state license are required.
• State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Deliver evidence-based, play-based therapy within a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers, providing home-based strategies.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation as required.
• Participate in clinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday (or four 10-hour days)
• Flexible start and end times
• 2 days at home, 3 days in clinic
• No nights or weekends
• Option to have reduced FTE for 30 hours work week
• 10+ hours of documentation time each week

Your Impact

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy, you will:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improvereceptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Utilize play-based andculturally responsiveinterventions to engage children and foster communication skills.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers,equipping them with home-based techniquesfor continued progress.
• Work closely with amultidisciplinary teamto ensure well-rounded therapy approaches tailored to each child's needs.
• Maintaindetailed clinical records and documentationasrequired.
• Participate inclinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Active & Engaged Work– Kneeling,bendingand playing at ground level.
• Hands-On Support– Lifting up to50+lbsmay berequired.
• Quick Reflexes– Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.
• Loud or Noisy Environments– Working with active children in dynamic settings.
• Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids– Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

Compensation

• After applying, a member of our recruiting team will call to review the pay range and opportunities for additional compensation through productivity bonuses. Compensation varies based on each clinician’s unique skills and experience.
• Full-time Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 (paid in two installments, with a two-year commitment)
