Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Dearborn is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The role offers hybrid in-person and virtual work, a salaried position with holidays and vacation days, and a clear path for growth.

You will evaluate and treat language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders; collaborate with families and other specialists; maintain thorough records; and participate in meetings and research opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification or CFY eligibility.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Utilize play-based and culturally responsive interventions to engage children and foster communication skills.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers, equipping them with home-based techniques for continued progress.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded therapy approaches tailored to each child's needs.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation as required.
• Participate in clinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday (or four 10-hour days)

• Flexible start and end times

• Virtual and in clinic days

• No nights or weekends

• Option to have reduced FTE for 30 hours work week

• 10+ hours of documentation time each week

Your Impact

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy, you will:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improvereceptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Active & Engaged Work– Kneeling, bending and playing at ground level.

• Hands-On Support– Lifting up to50+lbsmay be required.

• Quick Reflexes– Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.

• Loud or Noisy Environments– Working with active children in dynamic settings.

• Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids– Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

Compensation

• After applying, a member of our recruiting team will call to review the pay range and opportunities for additional compensation through productivity bonuses. Compensation varies based on each clinician’s unique skills and experience.

• Full-time Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 (paid in two installments, with a two-year commitment)
