Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Michigan is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a multidisciplinary team in Plymouth. A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Michigan licensure are required, with ASHA CCC-SLP or CF eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with families and caregivers, providing home-based techniques for progress.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to tailor therapy to each child’s needs.
  • Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation as required.

Your Impact

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy, you will:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.

  • Utilize play-based and culturally responsive interventions to engage children and foster communication skills.

  • Collaborate with families and caregivers, equipping them with home-based techniques for continued progress.

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded therapy approaches tailored to each child's needs.

  • Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation as required.

  • Participate in clinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or Clinical Fellow eligibility) AND/OR

  • State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Active & Engaged Work– Kneeling, bending and playing at ground level.

  • Hands-On Support– Lifting up to 50+lbs may be required.

  • Quick Reflexes– Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.

  • Loud or Noisy Environments– Working with active children in dynamic settings.

  • Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids– Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

Clinic Location

  • Plymouth

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, typically 9am-6pm

  • No nights or weekends

Compensation

  • After applying, a member of our recruiting team will call to review the pay range and opportunities for additional compensation through productivity bonuses. Compensation varies based on each clinician’s unique skills and experience.

  • Full-time Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 (paid in two installments, with a two-year commitment)
