Job summary

ABM is hiring a Payroll Tax Analyst for a Hybrid role at 14141 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77478. The position focuses on ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, accuracy of payroll tax setups, and assisting with audits.

The role requires experience with ADP systems and advanced Excel skills, with a preference for a candidate holding a degree in Accounting or Finance. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end payroll tax setups, stay current with tax

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Payroll Analyst, with at least 2 years in payroll tax administration
• Proficiency in ADP payroll systems and ADP SmartCompliance, plus strong Excel skills
• Strong understanding of state and local payroll tax laws and multi-state experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end process of employees’ payroll tax setups
• Stay updated with payroll tax laws to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks
• Investigate and resolve payroll tax discrepancies in a timely manner
• Identify opportunities to streamline payroll tax processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on payroll-tax issues
• Provide training and guidance to payroll staff on tax matters
• Assist in payroll tax audits with documentation and analysis
• Assist with year-end balancing of W-2s and W-3s
• Support ADP Vantage tax updates testing and implementations
