Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for weekly and semi-monthly cycles, including off-cycle payments. You will leverage ADP GlobalView and the Workday integration to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

The role requires partnering with HR, Finance, and leadership to maintain accurate employee data and to support year-end activities such as tax filings and W-2 processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field preferred.
• 5+ years payroll processing experience in US environment.
• CPP designation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles, including off-cycle payments.
• Manage Workday-to-ADP GlobalView data flow and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and leadership on payroll data accuracy.
• Oversee ADP vendor coordination and pre-payroll controls.
• Maintain employee payroll records for hires, terminations, leaves, and salary changes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws; conduct audits.
