Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a payroll tax professional to manage payroll tax filing, reconciliation, and compliance in a dynamic multi-state environment. The role requires practical Workday Payroll experience and strong Excel skills.

You will coordinate with tax authorities and ensure accurate quarterly and annual filings. Ideal candidates will have hands-on Workday Payroll knowledge, familiarity with Form 941 and W-2/W-2c processes, and the ability to handle notices and amendments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing payroll tax compliance (company level) and filing.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
• Proficiency in quarterly and annual tax reconciliation.
• Experience with Form 941 and W-2/W-2c processes.
• Familiarity with state unemployment insurance and related payroll taxes.
• Experience with tax amendments and prior-period corrections.
• Ability to manage payroll tax notices and agency correspondence.
• Workday Payroll experience.
• Strong Excel and reconciliation skills.
