Job summary

Openlane is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our hybrid US IN Carmel team. You will execute end-to-end biweekly payroll processing and maintain wage garnishments, tax levies, and payroll data with precision.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of large-volume payroll experience, strong knowledge of payroll tax rules, and excellent communication skills to support HR partners across locations. This role offers benefits and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in large-volume payroll processing.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax rules and garnishment compliance.
• Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting strict payroll deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate biweekly payroll processing for assigned OPENLANE locations in accordance with corporate guidelines.
• Maintain payroll data, records, and timely updates within the payroll system as required by law and company policy.
• Enter and accurately maintain wage garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies.
• Perform periodic reviews and audits of quarterly and annual wage and tax reports for accuracy.
• Support internal, external, and corporate audits by resolving discrepancies and pulling necessary documentation.
• Reconcile time-off balances and generate custom payroll reports on an as-needed basis.
• Workday system testing for projects or new requirements.
