Job summary

Anchor Talent & Consulting seeks an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to support its U.S. workforce in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

You will run bi‑weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff, manage changes from hires to terminations, and assist with benefit deductions and enrollment activities. The role requires 3+ years of payroll processing, ADP experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience working with ADP.
• Payroll experience within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or hourly workforce environments preferred.
• Knowledge of overtime, shift premiums, deductions, garnishments, taxes and payroll corrections.
• Multi-state payroll experience preferred.
• Union payroll exposure is a plus.
• Experience reconciling benefit deductions, eligibility or invoices.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to payroll data.

Responsibilities

• Run U.S. payroll for hourly and salaried employees on a bi-weekly schedule.
• Process payroll changes tied to hires, terminations, leaves, transfers, and status changes; manage pay, deductions, taxes, garnishments, bonuses, and overtime.
• Support payroll requirements for a manufacturing workforce, including shift differentials.
• Research pay issues and collaborate with HR, Finance, and payroll partners to resolve discrepancies.
• Review and reconcile benefit deductions, carrier invoices, and employee eligibility information.
• Help resolve differences between payroll records, benefit records, and vendor billing.
• Provide administrative support for employee benefit changes and enrollment activity.
• Assist with payroll reporting, year-end processing, W-2 review, and audit requests.
