Job summary

MPI in New York is seeking a Payroll & HR Operations specialist to support 400+ employees across the US and Canada. You will handle payroll, benefits, and HRIS data, ensuring accurate processing and compliant reporting.

The role requires 4+ years of payroll/HR ops experience, strong ADP TotalSource/Workday familiarity, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset. Hybrid work with standard hours.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in payroll, benefits, HR operations, or a related function.
• Strong U.S. multi-state payroll experience; exposure to Canadian payroll and benefits preferred.
• Experience with ADP TotalSource and an outsourced payroll environment; Workday experience helpful.
• Experience with HR data integrity and payroll/tax compliance knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and reporting capabilities; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll administration for 300+ employees across the United States and Canada with ADP TotalSource.
• Validate payroll inputs including hires, terminations, pay changes, bonuses, deductions, and other transactions.
• Review payroll audits, resolve discrepancies, and support year-end W-2 and T4 processing.
• Administer benefit enrollments, COBRA, leave-related changes, and Open Enrollment activities.
• Coordinate with Finance and vendors to resolve payroll and benefits matters and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain data in Workday/ADP TotalSource, process lifecycle transactions, and generate reports on headcount and payroll.
