ManpowerGroup is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Accountant to join its North America Finance team. The hybrid role in Northeast New Jersey offers a blend of on-site and remote work, with a pay range of $45.00/hour to $50.00/hour.

Responsibilities include supporting month-end close for payroll and benefits accounting, coordinating with the Payroll team on accurate processing, and reviewing intercompany payroll invoices and variance reports.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of general accounting activities and journal entry preparation.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of SAP, MS Office products, and Blackline.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Support month-end close journal entries, including payroll, benefits accounting, deferred compensation, and EPP.
• Partner with the Payroll team to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting.
• Prepare manual intercompany payroll invoices and review monthly payroll variance reports.
• Investigate and analyze variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate existing processes and propose improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
