Job summary

Holman Enterprises is seeking a payroll analyst to drive process improvements within the payroll function, adopt new tools, and transform data into actionable insights. The role supports regular payroll runs, tax filings, and annual reporting, while staying compliant with evolving regulations.

A strong Excel/ERP/HRMS background and Workday experience are valued. Hybrid work arrangement with a focus on accurate, auditable payroll processes and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with payroll software or human resources management systems; Workday a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Fully support and implement process improvement initiatives within the payroll function.
• Facilitate the adoption of new tools and technology within the payroll department; train staff and ensure smooth integration.
• Extract payroll data and convert it into meaningful information for analysis and reporting.
• Prepare required documents for internal and third-party audits, and annual reporting; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with regular payroll runs, including verifying tax payments and filings.
• Stay updated on legislative changes related to payroll; ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
• Ensure internal controls within payroll; support Year End processes and testing.
• Provide project support and required testing for payroll initiatives.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
