Job summary

Intel is seeking a Payroll Business Analyst to support accurate and compliant payroll operations. The role involves analyzing payroll data, resolving discrepancies, and partnering across payroll, HR, Accounting, IT, and other teams to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities include leading process improvements, system testing, and maintaining audit-ready documentation. You will work in a hybrid model with cross-functional exposure and opportunities to influence payroll controls and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (4+ years) in payroll or related field.
• Strong understanding of US payroll processes, compliance, and data accuracy controls.
• Advanced Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience supporting payroll automation, system implementations, or process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and eliminate non-value-added work.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Accounting, IT, and business partners to drive process improvements.
• Analyze payroll data, compensation, and related transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Support system testing with detailed test plans and result validation.
• Communicate risks and project timelines to stakeholders; drive initiatives to completion.
• Prepare documentation and reports to support audit readiness and decision making.
