Job summary

Toyota Industries North America, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Analyst to ensure compliant payroll processing for subsidiaries across the United States.

The role covers exempt and non-exempt payrolls with multiple frequencies, taxation, and liaison duties between TINA and subsidiaries. You will enter payroll maintenance in ADP, oversee timekeeping with subsidiaries, review audit reports, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local laws and company policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting or related field.
• CPP certification preferred.
• Experience using an HRIS system (ADP Lyric) preferred; ability to learn is critical.
• 5–10 years payroll processing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.
• Ability to identify problems and update processes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process on-time and accurate payroll for various frequencies and locations in the United States.
• Enter payroll maintenance into ADP as provided by subsidiaries.
• Oversee timekeeping processes with subsidiary teams.
• Audit payroll previews and verify calculations for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policy.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from HR personnel or associates.
• Assist accounting with GL inquiries or balancing issues.
• Handle tax notices and set up new tax jurisdictions.
• Process off-cycle payrolls and garnishments; ensure compliance.
• Complete daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting.
• Support merger and acquisition activities as needed.
