Job summary

Consultative Search Group is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Los Angeles to support payroll processing, data coordination across offices, and budgeting systems. The role involves validating and processing payroll data to help meet department objectives on time and accurately, with a possible hybrid in-office schedule.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, a Certified Payroll Qualification preferred, and 3–5+ years of payroll experience, including PeopleSoft and ADP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Payroll Qualification preferred.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience with high employee volume.
• 5+ years of cumulative experience.
• Experience developing analyses and reports.
• PeopleSoft and ADP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing accurate and timely completion of payroll-related assignments within firm policies.
• Assisting with bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processes, including off-cycle checks and uploads.
• Contributing to benefits, retirement, and payroll adjustments projects and regulatory analyses.
• Supporting Budgeting and Financial Planning with payroll and compensation data reporting.
• Entering and maintaining payroll data (salaries, bonuses, benefits, headcount) in budgeting systems.
• Protecting confidential and sensitive information.
