Job summary

The J.G. Wentworth Company in Chesterbrook, PA is seeking a Payments Specialist to support clients by reviewing update requests to payment plans and ensuring timely payments to creditors for active settlements.

You will work with creditors to resolve escalations, maintain high customer satisfaction, and use our CRM to document updates and monitor enrollments. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; the compensation includes $19.25 per hour

Qualifications

• Experience in banking, finance or Bachelor's degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and analyze risk.

Responsibilities

• Use CRM to manage client accounts with clear updates.
• Review and process plan changes for active settlements.
• Review and process program change requests for enrolled debts.
• Review internal/external reporting for escalations with clients or creditors.
• Collaborate with teams and creditors to resolve payment issues.
• Review settlements to ensure alignment with creditor agreements.
• Resolve broken settlements with creditors via phone and email.
• Assist negotiations in locking down creditor settlements.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams to resolve requests.
