Job summary

AEG Vision seeks a coordinator to manage Lockbox and EFT payments from insurance carriers and patients for Payment Posting. You will batch payments daily across multiple Tax IDs and cash accounts, locate remittances on various websites, and hand off to posters promptly.

You’ll report KPIs weekly and assist on special projects, while advising on billing issues to REM management. You will serve as a resource for retail units and drive process improvements to enhance quality and profitability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year AR experience with 3rd party billing.
• Knowledge of insurance billing processes.
• Entry level PC skills in MS Windows, Word and Excel.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to effectively speak with coworkers, and prepare concise and accurate reports.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment, functioning for the good of the team over the individual.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Lockbox and EFT payments from 3rd party insurance carriers and patients for Payment Posting.
• Batch daily Lockbox and EFT activity for multiple Tax IDs and multiple Cash Accounts.
• Go to multiple websites to locate Remittances.
• Handoff to Payment Posters daily in a timely manner.
• Report personal KPI data weekly using Deposit Portal.
• Develop expertise in payment activity and act as a resource for questions.
• Assist RCM Manager on special projects as needed.
• Communicate system, site, and billing issues to REM Manager for proper oversight.
• Be a resource for retail units for questions relating to billing.
• Make recommendations for efficiencies, processes to improve quality and profitability.
