Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Payment Posting coordinator to manage Lockbox and EFT payments from insurers and patients. The role involves batching, remittance location, and timely handoff to posting staff, with KPI reporting and departmental support.

The position is hybrid, full-time, with a base wage range of $19.50 to $21.50 per hour, plus benefits. You will join a team focused on reliable billing processes and efficient payment workflows.

Qualifications

• 1 year AR experience with 3rd party billing.
• Knowledge of insurance billing processes.
• Entry level PC skills in Windows, Word and Excel.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily batching of Lockbox and EFT activity for multiple Tax IDs and Cash Accounts.
• Locate remittances from multiple websites and ensure timely handoff to Payment Posters.
• Maintain and report KPI data weekly using Deposit Portal.
• Serve as department resource on payment activity and assist PM on special projects.

Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate all Lockbox and EFT payments from 3rd party insurance carriers and patients for Payment Posting.

• Responsible for daily batching of all Lockbox and EFT activity for multiple Tax IDs and multiple Cash Accounts
• Responsible for going to multiple websites to locate Remittances
• Responsible for timely handoff to Payment Posters daily
• Maintain and report personal KPI data to Manager on a weekly basis using Deposit Portal
• Develops expertise in payment activity and acts as a department and company resource for questions relating to this activity
• Assist RCM Manager on special projects as needed
• Communicates all system, site, and billing company issues to the REM Manager on a timely basis to allow management oversight and proper resource planning
• Be a resource for retail units for questions relating to billing
• Makes recommendations for efficiencies, processes, etc. which will deliver quality, cost savings, and/or profitability improvements within the department and / or across the organization

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year AR experience with 3rd party billing
• Knowledge of insurance billing processes
• Entry level PC skills in MS Windows, Word and Excel
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to effectively speak with coworkers, and prepare concise and accurate reports
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment, functioning for the good of the team over the individual
