Job summary

Kansas Health System seeks a Payer Enrollment Coordinator to manage provider enrollment and credentialing across commercial and government payers, ensuring accurate enrollment, revalidation, and maintenance in payer systems for timely reimbursement.

This hybrid role is based in Olathe, KS, with in-office work at the Olathe Medical Pavilion B. Strong data entry, confidentiality, and knowledge of payer rules and CAQH are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three or more years of payer credentialing or enrollment experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track payer enrollment and credentialing applications.
• Maintain provider data in internal systems and payer portals.
• Monitor status, respond to payer requests, and resolve enrollment issues.
• Manage provider revalidations and recredentialing cycles (licenses, CAQH, NPI).
• Communicate enrollment status to revenue cycle, operations, compliance, and providers.
• Collaborate with payers to ensure timely processing of applications.
• Support process improvements to reduce enrollment delays and denials.
• Develop knowledge of system ownership and governmental payer rules for accurate enrollment.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures as assigned.
