ModMed is seeking a driven Patient Claim Specialist to support our Revenue Cycle Management team in delivering exceptional patient service. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, address balance inquiries, process claims, and document interactions in our Practice Management system.

Based in Boca Raton, FL, this hybrid role requires 1–2 years of healthcare admin experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel/Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Availability to work 9 am to 6 pm EST.
• Hybrid work in Boca Raton HQ.
• 1–2 years of healthcare administration or related experience.
• Basic understanding of medical billing claims submission and insurance carriers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for inbound/outbound patient calls about balances, claims, insurance updates, and payments.
• Initiate outbound calls to clarify account issues for RCM clients.
• Input and update patient account information in the Practice Management system.
• Support and perform special projects to enhance customer/patient interactions.
