Job summary

ModMed in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a driven Patient Services Trainer to shape a positive team and patient experience within our Revenue Cycle Management group. You will design and deliver trainings for all specialist levels, onboard new hires, and coach nesting and QA processes to maintain high service standards.

You will collaborate with supervisors and other trainers to refresh curricula and materials, ensuring effective evaluation of trainee performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2–3 years of medical claims/billing and contact center experience
• 1 year of dedicated training experience
• 1 year of people leadership or operations leadership experience
• 1 year of reporting and data analysis experience
• Ability to travel 50–75%
• If local to Boca Raton, commute to HQ on a hybrid basis
• Train and lead workshops for groups up to 30 onshore and 15 offshore
• Strong communication, judgment, and decision-making
• Openness to AI tools and new processes
• Professional demeanor with organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Create and lead training sessions and workshops for all specialties to ensure team members are trained in system processes and products
• Use coaching and QA feedback to design new training curricula and materials
• Onboard and train employees, act as QA coach for 3–4 Patient Services Agents during nesting and QA
• Ensure daily workflow processes are supported and floor presence is strong
• Explore and implement new tools, AI, and resources to improve onboarding
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams and external consultants for global training needs
• Escalate support when new hires struggle to meet role expectations
