Job summary

Nemours is seeking a Patient Access Manager in Orlando, Florida. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on leadership of the Access Center to ensure efficient registration and appointment scheduling, aligning patients with the right provider at the right time.

The manager collaborates with administrative, nursing and physician leaders, drives KPI performance, and implements improvements in revenue cycle processes to meet access goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in patient access or related revenue cycle area.
• Experience in contact center operations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Access Center for optimal scheduling and registration.
• Monitor KPIs: referral conversion, call metrics, appointment availability.
• Identify process improvements and technology enhancements.
• Provide standard reports to leadership for performance tracking.
• Develop action plans in collaboration with leaders for outpatient access issues.
• Supervise Access Center Supervisors and develop staff.
• Review provider templates to optimize time and resources.
• Conduct rounds to gauge satisfaction and opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as liaison among patients, families, referring communities, departments and staff.
