Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Patch and Vulnerability Management professional for a hybrid role in the Jacksonville, FL area.

You will coordinate patching across Windows Server and VMware, govern timely OS patch delivery, manage patch schedules and change approvals, and support audit inquiries. The role requires collaboration with IT stakeholders, experience with patch and vulnerability concepts, and familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira.

Qualifications

• Experience with patch management processes and tooling.
• Experience collaborating with infrastructure and audit teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server and VMware environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted compute environments.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with Agile methods and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Windows Server and VMware patching activities with engineering, operations, and owners.
• Governance and oversight of timely OS patch delivery and patching schedules.
• Create and manage patching slots, change tickets, and approvals.
• Remediate gaps in patch compliance reporting with IT stakeholders.
• Support central patch teams and escalations; participate in patch aging reviews.
• Lead weekly interlocks with DB/vendor teams for patching.
• Provide patch management tooling support, including ServiceNow.
• Act as a contact for internal/external audits on patching status and queries.
• Maintain SOP documentation for Windows and VMaaS patch management.
• Interface with Major Incident Management for critical patch deployments.
