Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Patch and Vulnerability Management professional for a hybrid role in Jacksonville, FL. The candidate will coordinate patching across Windows Server and VMware, manage schedules, change tickets, and governance, and interface with ITAOs, application owners, and audit teams.

The role requires 5+ years of patch management, vulnerability concepts, Jira, and Excel proficiency, with cloud experience and basic AI tools beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience with patch management processes and vulnerability concepts.
• Ability to collaborate with infrastructure teams, owners, and auditors.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server and VMware preferred.
• Experience with cloud-hosted compute environments.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with Agile and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Windows Server and VMware patch management activities with engineering, operations, and owners to support end-to-end patching.
• Provide governance of timely OS patch delivery.
• Create and manage patching schedules and change tickets with required approvals.
• Coordinate remediation of gaps in patch compliance reporting.
• Support central patch management governance and ageing estate issues.
• Lead weekly interlock meetings for Windows and VMaaS patching and progress patch-related escalations.
• Provide support for patch management tooling such as ServiceNow.
• Act as a primary contact for audits and regulators on patching queries and status.
• Maintain standard operating procedures for Windows and VMaaS patch management.
• Interface with Major Incident Management for critical patch deployments.
