GBH is seeking a Part Time Assistant Editor (AE) to support post-production for OutPost and clients. Ingest, edit, and prepare media, while managing workflows and coordinating with editors.

The role requires flexibility for weekend/evening work and a hybrid on-site schedule at One Guest Street in Brighton. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2–3 years in production/post-production, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Avid, EditShare, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2–3 years in production/post-production environment preferred.
• Proficient in Avid editing platform and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Ingest and edit media for OutPost and client projects.
• Prepare assets for editors and manage workflows.
• Coordinate and assemble media and sequences for editors.
• Encode outputs and deliver via distribution systems.
• Coordinate subtitles for translations.
• Assist with archiving and media management.
• Support onboarding of staff to GBH remote edit systems.
• Flexible with hours including weekends/evenings.
