Job summary

Texas Farmers’ Market is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager with social media management, content creation, and community outreach. The role requires flexible hybrid hours in the Austin area, with required availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The position starts late December 2026 or early January 2027. The candidate will develop graphics, maintain brand materials, coordinate events, and update the Squarespace website weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• 2+ years social media management experience.
• Graphic design experience preferred.
• Experience with Squarespace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend markets to develop relationships with staff and vendors.
• Manage social media calendar and create posts for Instagram and Facebook.
• Gather and analyze social media data and deliver monthly insights.
• Update Squarespace site weekly with vendor lists and recipes.
• Assist with event planning and promotional activities.
• Provide social media coverage in the absence of the Marketing Manager.
