Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a part-time Certified Coder licensed in Illinois to review clinical documentation, apply accurate coding and modifiers, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role supports a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing medical records for coding accuracy across clinic, inpatient, and outpatient settings; coding with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS; and communicating with providers to obtain documentation and post charges timely.

Qualifications

• Review and analyze medical records for coding accuracy across clinic, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
• Verify and code diagnoses, E/M, and procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation and ensure timely posting of charges.
• Expert knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, E/M leveling, modifiers, and ICD-10-CM diagnostic coding.
