Job summary

Merz Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Paralegal to support the Legal and Compliance Department. The role oversees outside counsel engagement, tracks legal spend, and collaborates with Corporate Counsel on contracts and governance, including board activities and licensing submissions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or paralegal training and at least 10 years of related experience, with strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and contract management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or graduation from an accredited paralegal program.
• Ten years of progressively responsible, legally related work experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and managing a contracts system.

Responsibilities

• Draft standard contracts and exhibits and analyze existing agreements.
• Coordinate with Sourcing, Finance and partners on timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor and report contract status to attorneys and updates in systems.
• Manage global contracting transition and establish process metrics and training.
• Lead contract management for NA Legal/Compliance and oversee outside counsel.
