Job summary

Weber Gallagher seeks an experienced general litigation defense Paralegal to support a team through inception to trial. The role offers hybrid work from Mt. Laurel, NJ; King of Prussia or Philadelphia, PA, with collaboration across attorneys and legal staff.

Candidates should have 5+ years of defense litigation support, a BA or Paralegal Certificate, excellent organization, strict time management, and proficiency in MS Office; Lexis experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved organization.
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in defense litigation support.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, legal staff, clients and others.
• Experience with time entry billing in a law firm setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage client cases from inception through trial and closing.
• Daily time entry billing requirements.
• Obtain, review, analyze and summarize documents, including medical records, financial documents and other relevant case information.
• Trial preparation – such as trial binders, exhibits and preparing witness files.
• Create status reports and provide updates to appropriate parties.
• Willingness to work on cases from start to finish and meet all court deadlines.
• Additional duties as assigned.
