Job summary

Weber Gallagher has an immediate opening for an experienced general litigation defense Paralegal with hybrid options from King of Prussia, Mt. Laurel, or Philadelphia.

The role supports a team of attorneys from inception through trial and close. Responsibilities include managing cases, daily time-entry billing, reviewing and summarizing documents (including medical records), trial preparation, status reporting, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in defense litigation support.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams of attorneys, staff, clients, witnesses, etc.
• Demonstrated interest in defense litigation.
• Experience with legal research; Lexis a plus.
• Familiarity with reviewing medical records and creating chronologies.
• Experience with time entry billing in a law firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage client cases from inception through trial and closing.
• Daily time entry billing requirements.
• Obtain, review, analyze and summarize documents, including medical records, financial documents and other relevant case information.
• Trial preparation – such as trial binders, exhibits and preparing witness files.
• Create status reports and provide updates to appropriate parties.
• Willingness to work on cases from start to finish and meet all court deadlines.
• Additional duties as assigned.
