Qualifications

5+ years of defence litigation support experience.
Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong time management with ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication with cross-functional teams.
Interest in defence litigation.
Legal research experience; Lexis a plus.
Familiarity with medical records review and chronology creation.
Experience with time entry billing in a law firm.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Manage client cases from inception through trial and closing.
Daily time entry billing requirements.
Review, analyse and summarise documents including medical records and other case information.
Trial preparation, including binders, exhibits and witness files.
Create status reports and provide updates to appropriate parties.
Willingness to handle cases from start to finish and meet deadlines.
Additional duties as assigned.
