Job summary

Helen of Troy's Legal team in El Paso, TX seeks a Paralegal for a hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite). You will support commercial contracts and litigation matters across two divisions, using approved templates and playbooks to help ensure timely review and execution.

You will manage contract intake, document management, and assist with eDiscovery, subpoenas, and regulatory inquiries in collaboration with outside counsel and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of paralegal experience in corporate legal, law firm, or both.
• Experience with commercial contract review and administration; litigation or disputes support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document/matter management systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, revise, and negotiate routine commercial agreements using templates and guidance.
• Support day-to-day contracting for two divisions, including NDAs, vendor/supplier, SOWs, amendments, and renewals.
• Identify contractual risks and escalate to supervising attorneys.
• Coordinate contract intake, approvals, signatures, and record retention.
• Support litigation matters, investigations, and regulatory inquiries; assist with eDiscovery and subpoenas.
• Maintain matter files and collaborate with stakeholders and outside counsel.
