Job summary

Vizient in Irving, TX is seeking a Legal Operations professional to support daily activities, draft and review contracts, and advise internal stakeholders on governance matters. The role emphasizes collaboration with attorneys, adherence to policies, and increasing independence over time.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of relevant experience, a paralegal certification preferred, and strong organizational and communication skills. Hybrid work: 3 days in office.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Knowledge of contracts/agreements terms and conditions required.
• Experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legal environment preferred.
• Paralegal certification preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, amendments, and other legal documents, reviewing redlines and providing standard responses and comments.
• Provide advice and consultation to internal stakeholders and business teams regarding contract processes and negotiations.
• Act as liaison between business teams and the legal team.
• Support adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to determine internal controls to mitigate risks.
• Monitor post-execution processes, archive contracts and other documents.
• Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
