Job summary

Wood Smith Henning & Berman LLP seeks a paralegal for its civil litigation practice. The hybrid role requires in-office presence three days per week in the greater Concord area.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of litigation experience and be highly organized and motivated. Responsibilities include case management support, pre-trial preparation, medical and employment record review, discovery work, and assisting with depositions and expert witness coordination.

Qualifications

• Must possess a paralegal certificate.
• Professional and pleasant demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to process subpoenas for various records.
• Ability to coordinate with experts for witness review.
• Ability to work in a team and respond promptly.
• Able to multi-task independently and stay proactive.
• Strong MS Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, iManage, e-Copy, PDF conversion.
• Trial preparation and exhibit preparation experience.
• Ability to organize records and document productions.
• Ability to redact and assemble material for expert review.
• 40 hours per week, M-F 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all aspects of case management and pre-trial prep.
• Summarize medical records and employment records; manage discovery.
• Prepare records, exhibits, and witness materials for trial.
• Review and organize document productions from opposing parties.
• Coordinate with experts and prepare material for expert witness review.
