Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant in insurance defense or civil litigation setting.
• Strong knowledge of e-filing processes in State and Federal courts.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accurate docketing and calendar upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Maintain attorneys' calendars and schedule depositions, mediations, teleconferences, and travel.
• Prepare and file pleadings, discovery documents, and routine motions with attorney guidance.
• Open/close legal files and manage correspondence between clients, outside firms, and insurers.
• Record and track deadlines through docketing and calendar systems; assist multiple attorneys.
• Support trial preparation and related legal tasks.
